The Paramount and Virginia Film Festival

I included this story because it connects directly to the kind of work I’d be excited to support at The Paramount: arts, film, live events, local audiences, and the stories that help a cultural space feel connected to its community. The piece covered Miles Caton of Sinners being honored during the Virginia Film Festival and was published in The Daily Progress with front-page placement.

Inside the Story

The front-page strip gave the story visibility, but this is where the piece had room to breathe. The full page brings the interview, event photography, and film imagery together as a finished print package, showing more than just the headline. I wanted to include both pages because the layout gives the story context: where it appeared, how it was presented, and how it fit into the paper.
